Typhoid Fever

Traditional Remedy

Unripe pawpaw, unripe pineapple, ginger, lime/orange, and Lipton tea are boiled together with fermented corn water for about one hour. Traditionally, one glass is taken three times daily for one week.

Traditional Remedy

Unripe plantain is peeled, pounded, mixed with water, and allowed to ferment for three days. Traditionally, one cup is taken twice daily for one week.

Dried mango seeds are ground into powder and mixed with water. Traditionally, one spoon is taken daily for 3–4 weeks.
